Andrew: Sash, over the past two seasons, I have watched you and your teammates go on an incredible journey in which you have shown not only the city of Los Angeles, but the world at large, from Maribor to Udine, what it means to be a champion in the truest sense of the word. Not to take anything away from Kobe’s miraculous drives to the hoop or Pau’s hook-shots, but it was you, Sash, who inspired me with your pure emotion, unwavering fist-pumps and never-say-die attitude. They asked me to send a short congratulatory message to you, but my words will never come close to what it must have felt like to feel the lingering champagne sting your eyes as you saw your reflection in that Larry O’Brien Trophy. I’m so excited for you and the Lakers, it’s the night before the parade and I can’t even sleep. It’s so amazing on how hard you’ve worked and how far you’ve come and then even made your dream come true. Not very many people have done what you have accomplished. This Lakers team has really been my favorite since Showtime. You guys are such a fresh, colorful and interesting group of guys, not to mention great basketball players. I’ve enjoyed every moment of watching you all. Congratulations Sasha and see ya at the parade!!!

Congrats to you Sasha, and also the Los Angeles Lakers team. If I could, I would copy and paste what Andrew said because he said everything I would’ve said. It’s been an unbelievable 2 years, to go from being 2 wins away from winning the Finals to winning it all and becoming a champion. You have shown so much heart and despite a season where stats didn’t go the way many wanted, you did everything you could to win 81 games this season! 81! You guys did it! And it’s just amazing to say: Sasha Vujacic, you are an NBA Champion. Thank you so much for bringing a championship to Los Angeles.

And us female fans are VERY happy you are a Laker. By far the cutest, hottest Laker there ever was. I was just really sad you didn’t get to play more in the finals!! Just wanted to tell you that I was inside the Coliseum yesterday - it was awesome! Unfortunately, there were some fans that were booing when you were announced on stage … don’t let that bother you and I think you heard them. These are not true Laker fans. Yes you missed a few shots during the play-offs but so what - we won and you were a huge part of getting us there! These were all clearly band wagon fans that did not follow your contribution all season long - you are still THE MACHINE!! looking forward to seeing you next season.
