International Academy of Visual Arts Selects www.sashavujacic18.com as 2009 Winner ASHLAND, KY - The 15th Annual Communication Awards has awarded Los Angeles Lakers basketball player Sasha Vujacic and his website, www.sashavujacic18.com, with two Award of Distinction Awards.

In a letter from Linda Day, Executive Director from the International Academy of Visual Arts, Sasha’s website was recognized with the following: “On behalf of the International Academy of Visual Arts and the Communicator Awards, we are proud to announce that the judging is complete for the 2009 Communicator Awards and your work was selected as a Winner!”

The continuously updated website, follows Sasha around the world – from Slovenia across United States to China – with daily updated articles and blogs from his fans. It is the first NBA-player website of its kind to contain, Web 2.0, social marketing capabilities and daily updated content.

    Congratulations!! The website has really come into its own…especially the weekly link roundups! Now, when Sasha returns for the next season, let’s hope there are real opportunities for him to use the website as a way to communicate with his many fans - and for us to talk to him!!

    @Jennie watching European championship will be pointless since Jure Zdovc the coach of Slovenian basketball team decided not to take Sasha to EC.

    Yes like Luka said, Saša was left out from team because of previously injury (knee) and consecutively because of unpreparednesses , so he won’t be playing at Eurobasket. :(
