Daniel Sagal, a 21-year old sports enthusiast, has been an NBA and Los Angeles Lakers fanatic since the age of nine.
Born in Latvia, a small country in Eastern Europe, Daniel moved to Los Angeles with his family before he was old enough to speak. Growing up with a tennis racket in hand, he pursued a professional career of his own until injuries set him back for good.
His personal experience in sports has given him a different perspective on professional athleticism. Currently, in his final year as a student at California State University Northridge, Daniel’s focus is Business Management and Real Estate. While building a career in commercial real estate during a tough economy, he has realized that now is the best time to pursue a passionate goal rather than a serious career.
After many years as a basketball fan, Daniel realized his passion for the game was unique. In early 2008, he committed to building what has now become a top Lakers blog, LABallTalk.com. By devoting endless hours to writing about the Lakers and building a strong fan base of his own, Daniel has discovered that his passion for the team has surpassed what he had originally envisioned.
